Since I've had cable TV I've become weirdly addicted to this show. In episodes 2.11-2.12 (Beetle to Beach Buggy) the bombed-out Typ 1 bore the registration FTD 243J, but the completed Buggy was UPW 450H. Odd; normally a Beach Buggy would surely carry the number of the donor car ... |

Just seen that ep too chris, I was a bit confused by that as well but they only ended up using the engine from the 71 car. |

Our episode order seems to differ from Wikipedia, so these should be 11.10. Also, dragonboy does this series with him adding pictures from 11.07 two weeks ago. If somebody is working on a series we usually don't validate contributions from other users without that person giving the okay. |
◊ 2013-10-20 04:13 |
Updated to 11.10... seems strange. Why ordering is different? |
◊ 2013-10-27 23:39 |
So why was it validated then, i was currently working on all the episodes to do them in one batch |
◊ 2013-10-28 00:23 |
Not by me. Another admin must have validated the pics having not seen my comment. |

Missing the stomach turning green Cadillac 1962 from season 10. But you don`t have to upload it , since the thing turned out so ugly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kq0mKIPt3-4 |

Still missing quite a lot of vehicles, including ones from series 3. |
◊ 2015-03-07 19:13 |
I've noticed that, despite the apparent quality of the workmanship and the desirability of the subject the DVLA entries suggest that the expected life of the cars they feature is no more than three years beyond the date they sell them on. |
◊ 2015-03-22 23:24 |
The episodes featuring the Charger, Delorean, Chevy 3100, Karmann Ghia and Bel Air are from part 2 of series 8 not series 9. Series 9 was from the Fiat Dino to the SLK. Series 10 was from the DB7 to the '62 Coupe de Ville etc. Can an admin please change this so the episode order is correct? -- Last edit: 2015-03-22 23:39:22 |

I notice, if you're studying your imcdb while watching 'Chasing Classic Cars' on Quest, you look up at the screen after a while and wonder why Mike Brewer has grown a white moustache and speaks with an American accent. I recall Messrs Brewer and China renovated a VW Transporter, ex-builder's van, on the show; ineligible for inclusion owing to its mundanity? |

I would love to contribute as I have every episode on DVD, but I have no idea how to capture pictures |
◊ 2016-11-29 19:09 |
Get VLC media player, watch the media, capture the vehicles with the "take snapshot" function, and process them with a program such as XnView. That's what I do. |
◊ 2016-12-14 01:52 |
It would be least confusing to just follow the wikipedia listing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Wheeler_Dealers_episodes or the numbers keep getting 1 series ahead. |

A very rare M-B 300 C wagon turns up in S13E01 when Mike visits a Mercedes shop regarding the '87 560 SL convertible Edd is working on. The story is that a lady went to the dealer in NYC looking for a Mercedes wagon only to be told that there's no such thing. They ended up having one made just for her. -- Last edit: 2017-01-26 19:06:31 |

"Edd was the antithesis of the usual car-reality-show mechanic: where most shows tended to have caricatures of loud, arrogant, tattooed meatheads yelling at everyone about how this ‘69 GTO had better [bleeping] be ready by tomorrow or heads will roll, Edd’s a calm, wildly capable, good-natured guy who had respect for all kinds of cars and was someone you’d actually like to work with. Plus, there’s almost never shots of him grinding down chunks of metal just to get more sparks on camera." That's an accurate quote. No unnecessary time constraints like having the entire car re-built and re-sprayed in 3 days, not much acting for the camera, just him working on it. |

◊ 2020-04-04 16:41 |
Quite a lot of cars are still missing, to be honest; the Corvette Sting Ray, Lotus Elise and Cadillac from series 10, all of the cars from series 11 except the TT, 2CV and the Darracq, all of the cars from series 12 except the Thing, the Mark 2 Escort and the Type H, all of the cars from series 13 except the Civic, all of the cars from series 14 except the Saab, all of the cars from series 15 and all of the cars from series 16 except the C10 and RX-7. -- Last edit: 2020-04-04 16:50:58 |

The episode with the orange TR7 showed Ant rebuilding its Zenith carbs in detail and completely replacing the wiring harness so I'm not sure what Edd was complaining about. -- Last edit: 2021-01-25 19:27:17 |

In Japan it's called 「名車再生!クラシックカー・ディーラーズ」(roughly translates to "Great cars reborn! Classic Car Dealers"). In fact Motor Trends Japan has uploaded some of the episodes in full on their YouTube channel so I might get around and start posting cars from there if I see something that isn't already on IMCDB. |
◊ 2021-02-19 09:35 |

The last 6 episodes will be uploaded in the next few days which is when I will upload the cars featured in those episodes. Go-karts at the end of 15.02 Choice drag racers from 15.16 and 15.17 |

◊ 2023-03-20 16:26 |
Is there any way some of the episode numbers can be edited? There's a few errors and it's triggering my OCD XD |
◊ 2023-06-28 18:45 |
Oh it gets worse... I just added 11 entries from "17.15"... an episode number I had to invent since 1) Wikipedia lists the Fiat 600 episode as "Episode 5 of Part 2 of Season 17", an incompatible format for this website, 2) Discovery's WD page is dead, and I can't access Motor Trend UK to check the episodes, 3) Archived pages of said WD page gave me nothing on this episode. @mods or anyone knowledgeable What should I list the episode number for the Fiat? I tentatively listed them as "17.15" but I feel like I'm missing the mark by a lot this time. |
◊ 2023-06-29 00:19 |

Sorry for the late reply... I omitted an entry for it because it was out of focus, and at the end of the day it's just another in a non-fiction entry. Had the camera focused on that car, or at least the plate was visible, I would have considered making a page for it. |
