So, this is a story from the "Scotland Yard" series of 39 half-hour episodes produced between 1953 and 1961 isn't it ?

Seems recuring from a story to some another one ... ;)
For a page at IMPDB, it would be fine we known which are the title you've analysed (or : will you watch all the 39 short movies ?).
So the same aircraft can be inventoried in each of its appearances :king:

Swiss stamp 40 Ct. (Swiss centime) Blue and Red : "Swissair" (1931-1956) featuring a quadriprop (DC-6 ?) and a trimotor (Fokker VII ?).
ref. Stamp Number CH 358 / Yvert et Tellier CH 575 / Stanley Gibbons CH 570.
Was sold from March to December 1956.

Anachronistic or not ?

Sometimes, stamps and movies are seen in surprising meeting !

It is clearly stated beneath the title screen, yes.

If you have been following what I have posted the last week you will know that it is my intention.

I cannot be bothered to point out every time the footage of a plane is recycled (as it occurs quite often, actually). I'm just posting what appears in each episode.
So no, I haven't taken the images from an earlier episode and posted it here. When I set out to do this, I intended to put everything on a single page (as UML 557 appears in 3/4 of all episodes for instance), until I learned that IMDb has a separate listing for each segment and that two segments were already listed. So it's up to you whether you want to have everything on a single page or having it separated ;)

^ Just to clarify: IMDb lists them separately because they were produced for and first shown in cinemas.

I know - the reason I wanted to keep it on one page is the episodic format of the films. A bit like the theatrical serials that are usually put on one page, but is essentially one movie chopped up in bits except those are usually much shorter and end with a cliffhanger - not the case with this film series.

Yes, it does play like an anthology TV series. I guess it wasn't packaged as that for later TV airings, so only standalone listings on IMDb. Merton Park Studios' other famous productions, Edgar Wallace thrillers, were also made for and shown in cinemas, but they were later repackaged as a TV series and are listed on IMDb in both formats: as standalone features and as episodes of "Edgar Wallace Mystery Theatre" (but not always with identical cast listing...).

Thanks for your explanations.
Stricto sensus you're right.
For practical reasons, we probably merge all of them on the same IMPDB page (why uploading three or four pages of the same reused footage, especially if it's the only aircrat seen on this story !?).

You're right and it's already a big work to catch and share your stills. Highly appreciated !
