I think she only had it for a couple of episodes before he crashes it. One episode is based around her grandparents disapproval of the car as being too old and therefore unsafe.

valiant1962 ◊ 2007-02-23 23:11	Rory's Lancer appears in season 2. It is a 61 four door looks like a 770. Powder blue in colour. Dean gives it to her in Ep 2.12 as a gift, he is seen washing it for her in Ep 2.18, and Luke's nephew Jess crashes it in Ep 2.19. For some reason I can't open the DVD's in my computer to capture images, but will work on it. Also I think in Ep 2.18 Richard Gilmore buys an antique car to occupy his time. Bravada ◊ 2007-10-16 01:05	In the episode when Sookie goes into labor, it is revealed their car is a Buick Rendezvous. On seeing it, Rory duly literally throws up - she later explains it was because she was thinking of how a terrible experience giving birth must be, but we know she just couldn't stand the sight of this monstrosity (Rendezvous, not Sookie). I can't either. Also, Lorelei and Rory's father (whatever his name is) go for a date in his 1960s Ford Mustang and end up bailing out Emily out of jail. I don't know much more, I've just seen snippets of episodes (and later checked some, but not all, names online) and automatically remembered the cars.

Bravada ◊ 2007-11-21 01:11	Emily drives a Lincoln LS early in the series, later swapped for an S-Type (I wonder if she got a good deal from the PAG?) and finally moves to the E-Klasse, though I believe the S-Type makes some recurring appearances - either she alternates between the two, or production circumstances necessitated the back-and-forths I believe Richard's car is first shown in the "jealousy accident" scene, when it is revealed to be the larger Merc, so it is unclear whether he's driven Lincolns or Jaguars too. Interestingly, later in the series, when we are more or less certain Emily switched to the W211, Lorelei suddenly accuses her of "only caring if dad leaves you the Jaguar and Mercedes" (discussing Richard's will).
