Coupes and convertibles were a bit lower, longer and wider than 3-Series sedans, wearing different body panels. Convertibles had roll bars behind the rear seat, designed to deploy automatically if the car was about to flip over. 323Ci Convertible also on the 2000MY equipment list further down that page. 2001 Convertibles were available as 325Ci or 330Ci (or M3 which isn't what this one is).
