Interesting article about restoring the original "Lee 1" that's seen in the opening credits of every show. They mention it as #71 in a show called "Repo Men" but I didn't see it on IMDB to figure out if it's screenshot'able to add to this site. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Features/articleId=119349#35 I like that they didn't restore it perfectly to what a replica would look like, but they restored it to the actual condition that it would have been in when that scene was filmed. I'm glad there's people on the earth that are willing to go to that much trouble to preserve history.  |

I remember Bo & Luke leave to go and leaving to race NASCAR. I have looked it up and it was in Season 5. They where replaced by Vance & Coy. As I remember it towards the end on the season Bo & Luke return and Vance & Coy leave in the car that Bo & Luke come back in. anyone remember what that car is and is it on this site? |

Do you know the "DukeFest"? Looks like every year this event occur. There are a lot of videos on Youtube. Dukesfest 2008 General Lee Jump Dukes OF Hazzard Jumps 2003, 2004, 2005 DukesFest 2008 Good Ol' Boys DukesFest 2008 Parade of the Cars And every time they crash a lot of old cars. On the other hand (if you watch the last video) they have enough of them. So a Dodge Charger doesn't seem to be a rare car. |
