it's not actually a convertible. it's just a coupe with the roof chopped off and a fake cover along the back to make it look like its got a top. |

The basis was a 1971/72 Super Beetle (1302 outside America), to identify by the higher front due the McPherson-axle in combination with the flat front screen. |

I knew for some reason that it was not an actual convertible but I: “makeshift“ deal. It’s a miracle it did not fold them at self during those chases. They must have brace that I guess or just took a chance it wouldn’t |
