A few of them are obviously the same car with a repaint. Same with the Malibu from the previous season. -Kurt |

I have a theory that the later seasons included a lot of this style nova because it looks like the Los Angeles county Sheriff's department had these as police cars. LAPD had Matadors for awhile which is likely why they were used late in the first season when Dukes moved filming to Hollywood. The St. Regis started appearing as bad guy cars in season 6 which is likely about the time they were being retired by CHP which is where most of the Monacos and Furys came from. CHP and possibly LAPD i believe had some 78/79 malibus as well which was a very popular bad guy car in season 6/7. -- Last edit: 2014-10-09 00:01:39 |

Season six does have alot of these nova 4 doors. And it's no doubt that with all the interior scenes, visible is the 4 spoke steering wheel as part of the 9c1 nova Police package. I beleive these cars are retired police cars. In one scene the nova takes off spinning posi track rubber. http://s3.amazonaws.com/s3.racingjunk.com/ui/3/28/48168283-523.jpg |
