Note: Most sources list the series in just two seasons. Because of the clarity and because we usually do it I'll list it in the IMDb's way. Seasons 1-4 ('season 1') are based on the four-part novel series Das unsichtbare Visier by Otto Bonhoff and Herbert Schauer.

Series completed!!

Season 1. Set 1950-51 in West Germany, Argentina such as East Berlin, Rome and the Austrian Alps. Based on the first novel Das unsichtbare Visier aka Kennwort "Vergissmeinnicht".
Season 2. Set 1958 in Portugal such as West Germany. Based on the second novel Das Geheimnis der Masken.
Season 3. Set 1960 in West Germany and Norway. Based on the third novel Depot im Skagerrak originally set 1959 and also partly in Scotland, London and Basel.
Season 4. Set 1961 in West Germany. It's the only season that just bases on the novel, the story was heavily modified from the original fourth book Sieben Augen hat der Pfau.
-----
Season 5. Set 1965 in West Germany and South Africa.
Season 6. Set 1965 in West Germany.
Season 7. Set 1965 in France, Italy, West Germany and Spain.

Series filmed in East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, Hungary, West Berlin and probably further eastern countries.
