^ Louis de Funès was a gift from God. If anything were to compel me to learn French, his movies without English subtitles would. ![]() It's been too long since I've seen anything with him, so I'll prioritize this for sometime after next week. It's about time I saw something with Bourvil, too. |

^ IMO his best movies not in a franchise - this one - La Grande Vadrouille (also with Bourvil) - Oscar (1967) - L'aile ou la cuisse (1976) this one was so prophetic regarding the food industry |

![]() A wonderful treat of a movie this. They don't make them like this anymore. They don't make actors like this anymore either: ![]() The original listing for this movie was probably the worst I've seen yet on here, with pics in all sorts of dimensions, many of which were cropped, some of them significantly zoomed in, to boot. Ugh. Now they're all HD. I also added a surprisingly omitted Citroën, and two other things. There's a deleted scene in which Louis de Funes' character meets Michele Morgan and asks her for an autograph. She's in a convertible, but there's no proper view of it: ![]() ![]() ![]() bonus scooter since they're all the rage at the moment: ![]() ![]() bonus tow truck: ![]() bonus Grundig tape recorder: ![]() -- Last edit: 2025-07-01 15:20:37 |
