Leyland Comet or Beaver with LAD cab. Leyland Comet for me. |

I think that it is a Beaver: the Comet would have the short door version of the cab On the other hand, it could be an Albion Clydesdale.... If the shot wasn't blurred, we'd be able to see whether it had a Leyland or an Albion fuel tank |

I think it is an Albion Clydesdale which shared the same cab as the Beaver. It is not a Comet as it has the long doors but the Beaver Haulage chassis had a longer wheelbase. Being a bit shorter, this is probably an Albion. ![]() |

Leyland Clydesdale importé par Hotchkiss dans les années 1960. |

Fascinating I never knew the French had to suffer the LAD cab as well were these badged as Hotchkiss or Leylands ? or Albion ? any other pictures anywhere of LAD cabs in France ??The Clydesdale was an Albion model , completely different from the Leylands except cab . So I have a feeling this is a Leyland Beaver (or Albion Clydesdale) -- Last edit: 2011-03-18 17:05:49 |
