It could be Zagreb, capital of Croatia, which has blue and white trams. I think the sign is in a made-up language -- "stádty" look sort-of Slavic and "hivatalozosi" sort-of Hungarian.

There's a shop sign that's just about readable, which ought to help identify the country. It ends in "...ovnik".

Yvon a reconnu. Mon dieu que c'est vieux tout cela. C'est l'hôtel Dubrovnik à Zagreb. Je me demande si il existe toujours.

This is a Brantly B-2B. The first prototype flew in 1953, the series production started in 1958 and they are still available new!

All the best to you too for Christmas and the new year ;) (Rover 418 TD :- I was surprised ..not a bad car are they.! My first diesel & first turbo.!! I've had in the past, an 820 for about a month ..the auto gearbox went and was too costly for repair and my car before the 218 was another Rover (1.3 GTi 16v, Metro! on this the cam went and wasn't worth the repair cost, when it was running it was a good ,fast car.!)
