Manure truck? |
◊ 2007-01-11 23:06 |
I think that there is actually no view of it allowing an identification, that's why I did not include it (or I missed it?) |

Non de Zeus! La trilogie à placer dans la catégorie "culte" |
◊ 2007-04-07 23:53 |
I replaced my "old" pictures by better ones (as those that I made with an old version of MPC are quite "pale"), and added some missing vehicles, including that famous manure truck, hoping that it will be identified. |

Cars seen in "behind the scenes" documentary, but that were not visible enough in the movie (or not visible at all): |
◊ 2007-04-19 00:14 |
Worth noting that the Toyota Dealer ("Stathler Brothers"?) advertised on the radio in 1985 is a Studebaker Dealer in 1955. Studebaker stopped producing cars in 1965, so presumeably the dealer switched to imports. -Dave |
◊ 2007-04-19 23:51 |
And the name "Statler" already exists in the 1885 version in 3rd episode (not as cars dealer, of course ) In 2015 (2nd episode) it is a Pontiac dealer. -- Last edit: 2007-04-19 23:51:57 |

You're missing the yellow 1976 Ford Pinto Sedan beside the Datsun B210 in the parking lot near the beginning. |
◊ 2008-09-20 08:42 |
It is not so well visible |
◊ 2008-11-29 02:10 |
In Part III, the Statler family sells horses rather than cars. I haven't seen the movie in a while, so I don't know if it's in the film, but I know it was in the script. |
◊ 2008-12-01 19:02 |
Yes, that was visible in the film, when Marty arrives in the town |
◊ 2009-01-21 00:49 |
Hey ur missin the car that Marty was hit with when he was in 1955! |
◊ 2009-01-21 14:31 |
that one? /vehicle_11595-Chevrolet-Bel-Air-2403-1953.html |
◊ 2013-03-04 03:09 |
Biff's car is at least two different cars. There's the 1946 Ford Super De Lux AND the 1948 Ford Super De Lux. I attempted to upload a screen grab of the 1948 Ford Super Delux, but can't seem to locate it. Is there a problem? When comparing the various Biff cars, look at the front turn signals and the interior upholstery. Stan |
◊ 2013-03-04 04:09 |
Yes!! It uploaded this time. Must have been operator error before. |
◊ 2013-03-04 14:58 |
if you added a new vehicle page, it seems that someone deleted it afterwards (without saying any comment, that's maybe a little rude from the admin who did it). So here is the reason: even if they used two cars both should be put on the same page, /vehicle_2126-Ford-Super-De-Luxe-69A-1946.html (same role, nearly identical cars) So you should rather add a picture in the comments of that page. -- Last edit: 2013-03-04 14:59:03 |
◊ 2013-03-04 15:34 |
It's me who deleted it, just because I didn't pay attention that it was listed with a different year than the one already listed. My apologies. |

◊ 2013-07-22 15:45 |
glad you like it I can reasure you that not a single 50s car got destroyed or even damaged during the entire trilogy so you can safely buy the DVD/Bluray -- Last edit: 2013-07-22 15:45:43 |
◊ 2013-07-22 15:50 |
Good to know. But that '46 Ford was not so lucky. They really did a number on that one. |
◊ 2013-07-22 15:50 |
there was also a nice red wagon but no clear shot of it |
◊ 2013-07-22 15:51 |
it wasn't real manuor the director said on DVD commentary -- Last edit: 2013-07-22 15:53:57 |
◊ 2013-07-22 18:34 |
Here is a behind the scenes photo of the wagon, I don't what it is but judging by it's position it could be a Studebaker: |
◊ 2013-07-22 19:14 |
That wagon is a '49/'50 Pontiac. |
◊ 2013-07-22 19:17 |
if you think that it can be listed go ahead and use my screenshot |
-- ◊ 2013-07-22 19:21 |
It doesn't work like that. If the capture is not from the actual movie it can't be listed. |
◊ 2013-07-22 19:22 |
A shame because it's a beautiful wagon. |
◊ 2013-07-22 19:22 |
there are already some exceptions on IMCDB like this /vehicle_370964-Ford-V8-18-1932.html besides it could be listed with caption from movie and behind the scenes as bonus in the comments ? -- Last edit: 2013-07-22 19:24:09 |
-- ◊ 2013-07-22 19:59 |
Yes, it can be listed with the picture from the movie + behind the scenes as thumbnail. Regarding that exception - not sure who was the uploader but those kind of 'behind the scenes' captures are usually rejected. Especially if it is a still picture like that one on that page. |
◊ 2013-07-22 20:05 |
ok submited but someone should put the correct year and model name based on the behind the scenes pic... /vehicle.php?id=615917 -- Last edit: 2013-07-22 20:06:43 |

You can tell in that part of this film is set in 1955, because, cars of that era used 1951 California number plates and were issued with number plate tabs. -- Last edit: 2015-05-01 07:43:54 |

That's old news - I heard they've been making those since at least 2011. The only difference from the original is two-tone leather and a more modern, sportier steering wheel. -- Last edit: 2016-01-28 17:51:37 |

I think up to now they have been refurbished old cars, now with new legislation they can make all-new replicas. -- Last edit: 2016-01-28 18:01:10 |

think they were at some point building some with old parts from the original DeLorean company but not sure of it. think there was a engine upgrade too ( about 200hp ) , the original having about 130 |
