The way the Bandit drives, He should meet Bo and Luke Duke. and Buford T. Justice and his son should meet Rosco P. Coltrane and Enos strait.

THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST CAR MOVIE EVER MADE! My wife and I just recently got married on the 30th anniversary release date of this movie.

I remember when they escaped with all the trucks on the highway, there was a white 1962 Ford Falcon seen a lot in the scenes.

Już o tym pisałem gdzieś tutaj, że Robocopa chcieli u nas nazwać "Policyjnym gliniarzem" - jak widzisz mogło być gorzej. :p

I got the impression the German title "Ein ausgekochtes Schlitzohr" (A crafty chiseler) is even worse... :D

As I recall with mine there was a bit of a knack required to get it off the line quickly.Tried flooring it from a standing start once and it just sat there spinning the back wheels & making smoke!.Came in handy when I was being harassed by some kid in a Ford Fiesta 1.8 turbo though (kids car shows how long ago this was!).Two lanes and four sets of traffic lights in a row in town & we're side by side.1st set of lights go green & all you could hear was his engine revving & his pissy little front tyres squeeling.I ignored it & rolled up to the next set of lights.2nd set go green, same again, once again I ignore it.3rd set of lights & I floor it with the result of very little forward motion, plenty of smoke & even more noise. At the 4th set strangely enough He pulled away very slowly.Bit silly really biting like that but I was 21 with a 6.6 litre trans am & it was fun humiliating His pissy little car!.
I eventually found that it shifted best if You let it start to roll then steadily floored it (And Boy could it shift!)

Said to be one of Alfred Hitchcock's favorite films to personally watch, believe it or not...it supposedly made him laugh out loud.
