hum, never did read the book (or see the movie) but the parts of the book i did read were concerning the cars, why ddnt they use the correct cars, like frm the book, they got close, but still far aweigh... |

I understand that Bella in the book had a 1953 Chevrolet pickup truck and the truck used in the movie was a 1963 Chevrolet C 30 i gues that the origenale truck was wery hard to find and i gues that the reason that Edward drowe a Volvo C30 T5 insted of a Volvo S60R was becose that he had looked to grown upp in the bigger Volvo S60R and that the Volvo C30 T5 was a better pick fore a 107 year old Vampire but i dont under stand why Edward is gona use a big Volvo XC60 T5 in New Moon -- Last edit: 2009-10-21 01:02:27 |

I'm glad this terrible movie series is no longer a thing as the popularity and hype, for the most part, has died down by now. |
◊ 2015-10-01 14:33 |
me too..that's what made me stop watching vampires/werewolf movies... ![]() |

I wish Buffy would come and kick the sh!t out of these gloomy bloodsuckers. My exposition of this franchise: reading 1/5 of the first book (before the movie came out) and watching maybe 4 minutes of the second movie. |

That's what i was saying to my sister when she was watching the series... : " So, is Buffy gonna clean all this mess ? " Followed by : " How come Buffy did not stopped all this " for the other movies.. Never read the books and had to see a few minutes when bugging my sister about it.. ![]() |

I'd pay good money to see a movie about Buffy slaying sparkling vampires. ![]() |

Nice idea... we'll call it Buffyland.... ![]() |

A couple locations are nice in the series like the high school parking lot with the steep hill along the side. As well as the vamp's modern mansion in the woods. It was enjoyable to watch with the Rifftrax commentary. Buffy was a terrible show, everything to do with vamps and werewolves haven't been good unless it's Interview with the Vampire which actually has substance. |

Nosferatu is the best vampire movie, hands down. |

At least this first Twilight movie actually filmed in the area the movie is set. Washington state, and Oregon. The rest of the movies filmed in British Columbia. |

What about Salem's Lot (1979), Martin (1976), Near Dark (1987), etc.? Those movies are all very good, and I don't see how one could say Martin lacks substance. |

Why is almost everything set in Wahington/Oregon (with the exception of this movie) filmed there? Is it really expensive to film in Washington or what? |
◊ 2016-08-26 00:14 |
BTW, sorry to clutter things up but neither of my comments were defending this movie. This movie sucks donkey balls and it's annoying fans can drink Clorox for all I care. ![]() -- Last edit: 2016-09-18 22:45:43 |

The only movie i've seen filmed properly in Washington that wasn't cheap as hell was The Ring. Oregon, beats meh |

Tax incentives, similar geography (forests, mountains, etc.) and architecture, and plenty of studio space in Vancouver. |

This is the movie for teenage girls not smart enough for the Hunger Games! |

This movie was a total steaming pile. But I will concede to this scene being watchable: https://youtu.be/AZIk5wIq2Qw?t=34 Mainly because of the song in the background being one of my favorites. |

@rtsbusman1997, and Toys (1992) which was filmed in the eastern part of the state. As for a TV series The Salish lodge and waterfall in Twin Peaks. |
