I have the first four seasons on DVD...I may start uploading images. Victor in the first season drove a clean red Hillman Avenger (or maybe a Chrysler 180). Not seen often. In the second season, they drove a grey Ford Fiesta. I believe in both the third and fourth seasons they drove a silver Honda Civic, which was apparently a massive pile of junk. One entire episode takes place in that car when they're stuck in a traffic jam. Some other interesting vehicles include a yellow Citroen 2CV, a beat-up Austin Princess (driven by their neighbor), a red Triumph TR6 that Victor dumps a load of trash into the front seat of, and another 2CV that gets dumped in the trash bin in front of their home. -- Last edit: 2008-11-07 07:22:04 |

Isn't that not more than a electric calculating machine, where someone has removed the paper-roll? |

Sorry aout my ignorance,but....A lot of these have "date of liability" listed. Is that the last date the cars insurance was renewed or is that the date it was written off and junked? |

It's the date the car was last taxed or SORN'd (that means you notify the government that you intend to take the car off the road for some reason). It's a good indicator that a car has been scrapped or written off. Of course it could also mean that someone has left it in their back garden for a few years without notifying the government. |
