This movie has the record of number of car crashed, even more than in Blues Brothers. Not all the cars could be listed here since there are several duplicates (e.g. police cars) and also because lots are not even identifiable, e.g. those used in that scene: I am now completing this page like I did for the previous movie "Gone in 60 seconds" recently. |

How many semi trucks are wrecked in this movie? |

One I think: /vehicle_16394-White-Freightliner-1951.html |

Is this where Junkman (from Austria) took his name from? |
◊ 2006-12-17 03:24 |
Is it just me or does this movie really suck? nowhere near as cool as gone in 60 seconds. |
◊ 2006-12-17 11:48 |
Yes it is a little disappointing compared to Gone in 60 sec. The only interest is the cars and crashes, there aren't same nice chases as Gone in 60 sec. (though that there are some chases too in Junkman). -- Last edit: 2006-12-17 11:49:22 |

Had they known that the company would pull out of the American market and the cars would become somewhat of a rarity, I wonder if they would've ruined as many Citroëns as they did? |
◊ 2011-04-15 10:53 |
Didn't Citroën already stop selling cars at that time? (maybe then he god lots of these for cheap...) |

In the DVD, there are 24 photo gallery featurettes. The featurette concerning the police car-Datsun crash has a few photos where another car comes by. The driver tries to avoid the cars, but he turns over. IMDb says the car is a Chevrolet Monza, and it does seem to be one. At the very beginning of the making-of featurette, there are other unused crashes. After the crash of this car: /vehicle_7531-Mercury-Marquis-Brougham-1975.html A sedan then crashes into the Mercury, followed by a station-wagon, and finally a police car. -- Last edit: 2014-08-20 22:42:19 |

The stripes looks like Olds Starfire GT. -- Last edit: 2014-08-20 23:12:34 |
◊ 2014-08-20 23:15 |
I'm adding the vehicle right now. I'll say it is a Starfire. |
◊ 2014-08-21 02:28 |
The station wagon should be included as that part of the crash is seen as an outtake during the end credits: Unfortunately there are several vehicles still missing from this page; I will get images of them ASAP. -- Last edit: 2014-08-21 02:29:49 |

isn't it listed regrouped with another identical model? As I stated long time ago above, I'd like to do the update/adding of pics myself since I got the DVD. However if you want to add a few, they are welcome, but if you do so please include the time-tags! |
◊ 2014-08-21 20:41 |
I also have the DVD. |
◊ 2014-08-22 03:39 |
Not at all. I will submit it with the other ones I've found so far. I'm half-way through the movie... |
◊ 2014-08-22 13:26 |
What I meant is that I wished to update existing pics myself, as it was my contribution originally (and it is a much easier work to do by an admin anyway) |
◊ 2014-08-22 22:58 |
Oh, okay. I thought you meant adding vehicles. -- Last edit: 2014-08-22 22:59:19 |
Donovan Savage ◊ 2014-10-22 00:55 |
There is a chrysler New Yorker, a Chevy caprice classic, and a 1969 Pontiac. |

The car Barris stands near and talks about in the movie is his Cruisin' Merc. Also appears for a brief moment in full size before the beginning of the very first chase involving Bricklin. |

I've always been curious as to what car kills Harlan's wife at the start of the movie. The only info we have on it is the few frames we see of the driver swerving inside the car. |
◊ 2023-03-31 23:44 |
I'm willing to bet it was some sort of 70's sedan |
◊ 2024-05-13 22:17 |
Why is the film country origins displaying Russia, this was made in the USA |
◊ 2024-05-13 22:31 |
I don't know but this is getting annoying now. This is like the 2nd or 3rd one that was set to Russia. |

Maybe we've got a troll on our mist |
◊ 2024-05-14 00:32 |
The most commonly used countries don't populate at the top of the list and sometimes it is easy to pick the wrong one. I check though after I change the flag because I have caught myself putting USA intead of UK at least once or twice. |
◊ 2024-05-14 01:11 |
yeah but i would understand if it was USSR as it is right under USA in the list but Russia is a little bit far .. -- Last edit: 2024-05-14 01:14:24 |
