There's an early episode of Top Gear (the current format) on Youtube where Steve Coogan appears as a guest (the Star In a Reasonably Priced Car), and he talks to Jeremy Clarkson about the second series of I'm Alan Partridge where Alan swaps his Rover for a Lexus and also how Clarkson was partly the inspiration for the character (the bits where Alan fronts his own car crash videos). In the next part of the episode ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCvTrTZB-k0&NR=1 ) we see Coogan taking the Top Gear Suzuki Liana round the track, he also turns out to be an expert on Volvos (to a rather astounding degree). |
