Those wheels look pretty sporty, but I don't think they're sporty enough to make it a 442. |

1981 actually, that's when this bodystyle first arrived. No idea why firebird said 1983. |

My grandfather's 1987 sedan had those wheels. 442's came in specific colors. Also, I think the 442 came back in the mid 80's. The owners manual in my grandfather's car listed 442 on the cover and explained specific 442 options. |
