Not really. We see the aftermaths of several crashes and there's a short scene of some police cars, fire trucks and army vehicles (troop carriers and Humvees mostly) making great haste at the beginning but although the pacing of these scenes is very frantic (to show the authorities scrambling to deal with the at-the-time unknown problem) I wouldn't call it a chase. |

There are a lot of small quaint stereotypical New England towns there. It makes it the perfect setting for a horror story. |
