 Indeed, I prefer series with as subtle product placement as possible. American TV series from the 40s-to-mid 50s are better this way, as television was still a relatively new medium that hadn't caught on yet, and many producers had to make due with small budgets, on-location shoots and using privately owned vehicles or rentals for the action.
