 Never seen this, apparently it's probably about Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), a unrecognized country in Southern Africa.

 What do you mean "unrecognized"? Rhodesia gained its independence from the United Kingdom on November 11, 1965 and was succeeded by what is now Zimbabwe in 1980.

 It isn't that simple. Long story short: Rhodesia declared itself independent on that date but no other country recognized it as such, making diplomatic relations impossible.
