 S2 complete. Set in 2007. Felt like a completely different series compared to the first, much darker and violent and as such less entertaining. They sadly got rid of some of the more entertaining and likeable characters from S1 which made it so great. All the charm, bop, colour and nostalgia from Y2K was all gone. It had its funny moments but they were far between one another, replaced with senseless violence and a complete lack of glamorisation. It would be like Lilyhammer if they had gotten rid of Steven van Zandt and Trond Fausa and leaving us only with Fritjov Såheim, who also has a major role here. While he seems like a nice guy I find him insufferable in most serious roles. He can yell and that's what he does. To me, his best role will always be Biggen. Can’t say I have high expectations for any future season unless they tone down the unnecessary violence a bit and bring back some of the sorely missed S1 characters.
