not shown actually but think I figured, you take those chips from the side , then in the sauce on top and then eat |

BTW all the vehicles on this show (so far) are hovercrafts |

If I was working for this production I would have included a 1970s Buick Skyhawk probably driven by a main character where the model name relates to being above the ground. Most viewers wouldn't know the model name (or even the make) and maybe it wouldn't be mentioned but there would be some people that did. I guess even more farfetched than that is in Swordfish when the city bus that's lifted off the ground by the helicopter is the make Flyer. Edit: I guess Thunderbird is similar but I still prefer Skyhawk even though it's not the right time period. -- Last edit: 2023-02-17 19:24:15 |

if you want a little bit more modern there is the Saturn Sky.. -- Last edit: 2023-02-17 19:51:02 |

Not sure what nachos are, but that green stuff isn’t guacamole, it’s mushy peas. (The Brits will understand this joke, about an apocryphal occurrence with some minor celebrity.) -- Last edit: 2023-02-17 19:35:18 |

so.. why do the cars have wheel arches?? |
◊ 2023-02-17 22:00 |
part of some retro design wave ? .. |
◊ 2023-02-17 22:00 |
^ because they used real cars and it would be too much effort to cover those up using CGI ? |
◊ 2023-02-18 00:47 |
Would be interesting to see some scrapyard shots - do they stack the dead cars in the usual fashion, or do they still hover above each other like pond flies?? |
◊ 2023-02-18 01:34 |
i'm laughing but i'll admit that i'd be curious to know too .. |
◊ 2023-02-18 02:48 |
Do they have trains in this alternative world?? Presumably not, because the hover technology would not need rail tracks, so the whole system becomes redundant?? |
◊ 2023-02-18 02:59 |
" Tracks ? where we're going we don't need tracks .. " - some train conductor who has Brown as last name.. |

there are 7 episodes to go and in trailer you see footage of normal wheeled truck and tractor so not everything is hovercraft https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyPx64LjdJM |

I saw the trailer and I really love the retro-futuristic vibe of this show! Jetpacks, robots that do the cooking, the hovercars, it gives me serious Fallout 3 Pre-War vibes. |

They could have used this VW T2 with armour-plated interior and armoured protective wheel spats, coachbuilt in 1977 by Thiele Bremen Karosserie- und Fahrzeugbau. |
