1948 or first series 1949 (22nd series). Certainly not 23rd series. Never seen anything like this. Certainly not factory-built and not sure if it's real either. Probably a CGI extension of a regular Touring Sedan. I'd say Deluxe Eight as it doesn't appear to have the chrome extension to the windshield. |

Goodness gracious, it's actually a real thing: https://www.nvtt.net/car/1948-antique-packard-limousine/ Link to "limoforsale.com" Link to "2.bp.blogspot.com" The crude cutout of the window and the notch in the vinyl roof chrome (hell, even the vinyl roof on its own) seem very out of place. |

![]() Wrong on so many levels... I felt it was California before I actually knew... This stretch job is decades younger than the base vehicle! Chrome-surrounded vinyl roof, rectangular center window (tinted!), strong B1-pillar with doubled mood light, a geometrical drinks cabinet - a gracious 1948 Packard, kardashianized! Makes me instantly want to vomit up and down, back and forth and clockwise. Kids, don't try this at home! If you ever come across a vintage sedan and feel like doing this to it, think twice and maybe better burn it down or part it out in order to save other cars. |

You think that's bad, I once saw a picture of 1948 hot rod Packard that had a hideous blue-lime green flames metallic paint job and the headlights had been replaced with rectangular headlights from an '87 Chevy Caprice. There used to be a picture of the fugly ucker somewhere, but it seems like it was such an abomination (and rightly so!) that all images of it were scrubbed from the Internet. |

Yep, that's it. I only hope the person bought it to either destroy or restore it. When I saw it for the first time, I was like "Is nothing sacred?" -- Last edit: 2023-04-14 20:50:11 |

Just to clarify: They took a 1940s' sedan and made it a 1990s' party limo - that's what I hate about it, because the conversion doesn't blend in with the Packard at all. It's like they put non-matching Lego parts inbetween. Except for the rectangular headlights and the awful interior color, that green Leadsled doesn't bother me at all. Not my personal taste, but I like how they created an entirely different and consistent custom car and how much effort they put into making it. |
