Excellent film - lots of interesting background stuff for what was on the streets of Kenya at the time plus other curios: Early colour blue Imp in Nairobi RHD Taunus 17M [P3] in Nairobi - so Kenya got both UK and D Fords in competition, and was another market for RHD Taunus Kenyan AA Renault 4 Van passing behind Soderstrom interview at start - pre-68 grille, also AA placard in crowd BMC J2 Minibus at roadside in Uganda - seen twice from normal shot plus in-car footage from Preston's Cortina White Mk2 Cortina 1600E in Nairobi at finish - seems to be escort car for Zasada's Porsche and pulls over to let it pass just before finishing line Kenyan zebra crossing Some other 1969 EAS entries at /movie_64281-Eiko-e-no-5,000-kiro.html - none of this film's footage shows any of those entries. -- Last edit: 2015-02-20 00:53:56
