Remake of Gone in 60 seconds made with scenes of that movie in addition of some scenes from The Junkman. So the cars seen in Deadline Auto Theft are visible in these two other movies. -- Last edit: 2006-02-26 21:54:35 |

There are numerous cars that appear in "Deadline Auto Theft" that are NOT in both "Gone in 60 Seconds" or "The Junkman". The new opening sequence expands vastly on what was seen in "The Junkman". Cars that are featured that I can think off the top of my head include a 1975 Dodge Coronet, 1977 Pontiac LeMans and a 1970 Ford Galaxie (all unmarked police cars). I have already taken screencaps of these from the DVD. I would suggest putting these vehicles in and not the ones that feature in the other two films, if that makes people happy. Also, that International semi that's already on this page is NOT in "Deadline Auto Theft". It is in the unfinished "Gone in 60 Seconds 2" footage that is on the same DVD. |

It could be interesting, yes ![]() For the truck, where should we list it? On a separate page for "Gone in 60 seconds 2"? Though it is not listed on IMDB... |

Yes, the truck should definitely be listed as Gone In 60 Seconds 2 as it only appears in this unfinished film - I have the chases from both Deadline Autotheft and Gone In 60 Seconds 2, so maybe I could assist? |

I have the DVD as well - I can do them later today hopefully. |

OK, so MrTaft you do not have to do the pictures, Star Wars Fanatic will do that (as he his admin here, it is easier) |

Fine. I hope we'll be able to pick out all the "Deadline" cars! It will be cool to see. I visited the Queen Mary last year (where the start of this chase was filmed), and found all of the locations seen in the film. It was fantastic. |

Please bare in mind that I will only be submitting pictures from this by using the opening scene - the rest of the movie is exactly the same as Gone In 60 Seconds and The Junkman. |

And to explain why there are some duplicates from this "new" scene in Deadline from The Junkman - in the plot of The Junkman he is "finishing filming" Gone In 60 Seconds so you only see a few seconds of it. Then in Deadline Autotheft, the newly edited Gone In 60 Seconds as it were, the whole finished scene was put in. |

Great stuff! Still a few cars missing, though... And a White Freightliner. |

There was a White-Freightliner in The Junkman, isn't that one that you mean? |

No, it's in this movie. It's what causes the Plymouth Satellite to crash into the Commer van, which you can see in the pics above. |

^^^ Well, so don't open blank pages. If you open a new page, it is on the list 'waiting validation' and there is nothing to be validated. Open new pages only when you get the picture you are going to upload. Not before. |
