eLMeR ◊ 2016-12-31 01:51	You're right, rjluna2, the pre-1971 hubcaps are weird on a 1972 van. Do they fit on 1971+ wheel rims? If not, that would mean changing the wheel rims. But does this then also imply the modification of the front brake system? I know that some change their (front) drum brakes into disc ones (a friend of mine will soon do it on his 1970 T2a), but why would one wish to do the opposite??? The paint job and chrome trim here are the ones of a 1971-73 Bus, a.k.a. Giardinetta 'Speciale' / Giardinetta 'Lusso' if an Italian model. But the bumpers should then have rubber strips, so this 44-year old van could also be just an enhanced Kombi, known a "simple" Giardinetta in Italia... → "just" Giardinetta?
