Here in Norway, this is what you get when you order a new plate (no EU here), even with original combination printed. May be swapped for original plates later. Wikipedia, Vehicle registration plates of Spain: '....there are a few rare cases where the blue EU country identifier strip is also carried, as plates are reissued in new format but with the same number sequience when deteriorated or lost.' |

@Gamer: in Germany it's the same. If you re-register a car with expired papers on the old combination again, you also get the Euro-plates. Or the most common way: you change to a historic registration. |
