I am the owner of this car.
It's not a "S", but rather a base coupe model, 350R.
If it appears to be S, could just be the anti-sway bar or dual exhaust that I added.

It also was on set for American Hustle and should be seen in The Tender Bar.

:king:

I always liked this whole generation of Cutlass!

One of them that I saw at shows frequently was up for sale about a year ago, a red 1971 S coupe, asking price was $19K.

As a veteran of many auctions I have one piece of advice: - Keep your hands in your pockets!

Possibly!

No, I don’t know the rules of American auctions. Here, you needed to ensure finance is in place to pay immediately, your winning bid constitutes a contract. I was attending auctions before we all had credit cards, I used to carry cash, but in general was not buying cars that cost more than a few hundred pounds. The auction I attended most frequently knew me and accepted my cheques.

Thank you :)

This car was bought new by my grandmother for $3663. She traded a '62 Impala and got $588 for it.
She drove the Olds 35k in 15 years before it came to me in 1986.
Been painted a couple times but otherwise mostly original, and I've just been maintaining it.
Tough to keep it from rusting away in the New England region.
Just rolled the odometer in '19.
SSIII (non-match black paint) were added recently too... they make a big difference.

Not supposed to post this now since it's still filming, but here we are in front of the featured pub for "The Tender Bar" filming in Beverly, MA.

I just saw The Tender Bar and this car is seen no less than 6 times.
When it comes out on Prime next week I will edit here.
