I am not sure that it is a 280SL, btw. The badge looked more like 230SL for me, but as it was already listed as 280 I kept that name (it was maybe more visible on theater screen, as Sixcyl created the page I guess) -- Last edit: 2007-04-06 00:00:49 |

With the help of a magnifying glass, it's possible to see the 280SL badge on the right of the bootlid ( although it should be on the left ). Other details such as the door mirror, the headrests ( optional on the 280SL only ) and, on the third thumbnail, the shape of the switch and the cigarette lighter and also the upholstered top of the main instruments, identify a 280SL. |

Well, that image is quite compressed, JPEG artifacts do not really allow to see clearly what is written. As I said above it looked more like a 230 than 280 label in the movie, though that it was already too blurred. But if other detail confirm it as 280, it is probably a 280. |

The other details confirm it, but if you use a magnifying glass, you'd be able to distinguish it's an 8 and not a 3. ![]() -- Last edit: 2007-08-24 21:26:15 |

What I wanted to say is that jpeg artifacts add noise pixels that may make a 3 look like 8. |
