To me it looks like a 1937 Studebaker. Actually it looks to be this very car, a Dictator Cruising Sedan: http://www.flickr.com/photos/aussiefordadverts/8607711037/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/aussiefordadverts/8607730889/ As far as I know, some right-hand-drive cars for the Australian market were bodied by T. J. Richards of Adelaide. I wonder if this is one of them? |

If it were a Studebaker factory body, the trunk logo would be a simple round cloisonne emblem. Sometimes called The Red Ball, it was used from 1936 thru 1938, and still later into the 50's on parts packaging from the factory. |
