Vehicles seen in Mosquito Squadron, 1969 /movie_64699-Mosquito-Squadron.html the Crossley Q Type fire engine, Austin K2/Y ambulance and Leyland Tigress fire engine were used previously in this movie. Possibly the same film footage shot for "633 Squadron" was later re-used for "Mosquito Squadron".

The aircraft, the best part of the movie despite scale models being used for the action scenes...

De Havilland Mosquito, at least six examples seen. Three in flying condition, some used for static or taxiing scenes and one destroyed in a airfield crash and explosion.

Unknown light plane seen at the start of the movie...

A Messerschmitt Bf 108 Taifun - also seen in Mosquito Squadron.

North American B-25 Mitchell Bomber - looks to me to be in use in a peace-time role, possibly RAF Transport Command by the white upper fuselage?

Apart from the listed vehicles from post World War II era there was a small fire-emergency vehicle from the 1950-60s...

...and what looks to be a 1959 Austin/Morris Mini seen travelling across the back of the airfield scene.

Well, at least it's the right sort of vehicle :) ... looks to me like a Land-Rover/Carmichael Airfield Fire Tender.

Possibly, yes. Two RAF squadrons - 681 and 684 - according to Wikipedia, used B-25s for photoreconnaissance during hostilities, and the (I think) extra windows in the fuselage suggest this might be one of those. Surviving aircraft might have found their way to Transport Command.

I guessed it was about Land-Rover in size... but was not certain.

The bright windscreen surround looks right.

A very nice collection, Sunbar.

The light plane is a Miles M.38 Messenger (1942-48) which was actually flown by the RAF as VIP transport with Montgomery and Lord Tedder being notable users.

The Messerschmitt is actually the post war French built and Renault engined version S.N.C.A.N. Nord 1002 'Pingouin' II (1946).

The Land-Rover is an RAF ACRT (Airfield Crash Rescue Tender):

Various bikes in the movie that were too small to identify.

The unidentified light aircraft at the beginning of the film is a Miles M.38 Messenger (British).
