Note, that it's export model, due to Volga (instead of Волга) badge on front fenders |

Great eye, Nightrider! Much like Austin's (Dan Aykroyd), as he spotted the Russian wristwatch! |

Front end kind of looks like a '62 US Ford Falcon, Has that same "Electric Shaver" style grille, The divider bar sets it apart. |

Maybe the GAZ 24 Volgas were powered by Ford Falcon straight 6 engines, |

The badge says “The Price is Right” with “price” in Russian, “is” (“it”) in Bulgarian and “right” in Ukrainian. The Volga itself is from Minsk (Belarusian SSR) they probably meant мв as a short form of Moscow (which in turn was for the Moldovan SSR…) |

and they keep yelling " Come on down ! " each time they catch their guy... ![]() was also filmed in UK, Morocco and Norway ( i'll assume the Volga is in Norway for an obvious reason... ![]() -- Last edit: 2023-07-30 21:10:53 |

I think that's the joke... If this is Norway, I believe they were assembled in Belgium? And called Volga, as a brand? -- Last edit: 2023-07-30 21:14:37 |

@pchetv: it's an easter egg about a popular game show that Americans liked to watch in the 70s and 80s (though I think it's mistranslated, more like Цена-правильная) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Price_Is_Right |
