20/25, according to date. Typo in cubic capacity, should be 3669cc. 3827 produced 1930 to 37. Help needed on coachwork, might it be a hearse? No, small back window. -- Last edit: 2020-08-10 19:57:53 |

Seems to be a wedding car nowadays. This was Winston Churchill's personal RR. Link to "www.davidjleach.co.uk" -- Last edit: 2020-08-10 20:00:53 |

Lots of online references (a few saying 1925 rather than 1935), but no sign of a chassis number. NJ 5500 was issued early in 1935, E Sussex. "Churchill’s 1935 Rolls Royce 20/25 registration number NJ 5500 was purchased around 1955 from the initial owner, Mrs. Alice Martin of Heathfield in Sussex. Churchill bought the car to be his personally chauffeured transport, and for Joe Jenner to use as he wished on other occasions. A good indication of the long-standing relationship between Churchill and his chauffeur, the car was registered in Mr Jenner’s name." |
