True the US Trans sport did have the trademark Pontiac grille. the pic you have of the transsport is also not a us one either |

The "Pontiac Trans Sport" ad for Belgium that I have on my wall looks like the Pontiac rather than the Oldsmobile that you posted... |

Pontiac Trans Sport, Olds Silohuette (o whatever) and Chevy Lumina share the same frame/body ... this one here is a 1st series (1990 onwards) .. should it also say 'Made for EU' (or rest of the world, do not know how to label exports)? -- Last edit: 2006-09-06 10:23:44 |

That is a 94-96 European model. The Trans Sport and Lumina were given a more traditional style front end for the US market in 94 while the Silhoette was only mildly updated. The long front end was not so weird to Europeans since there were other models with similar styling (Renault Espace) so the Trans Sport got the Olds looks in 94 |

As I know, one of the very few Pontiac's you could buy in Europe. Actually I only can remember the Firebird, too. |
