This is a Brazilian T2 as it's still aircooled but has the newer Mexican mirrors. BR built ones were sold in Mexico beginning in 1997 after Puebla ceased production, and finished in 2001, succeeded by the Eurovan. In the words of Scott McKenzie: "They skipped a whole generation / without an explanation" From looking at well-preserved examples online, 1998 was the first year for the Mexican mirrors on the Brazilian model. -- Last edit: 2022-12-13 17:08:05 |
