Either a Plymouth Gran Fury or Dodge Diplomat. I think we can safely say this car with a mid 2000's Highlander (and if this is supposed to be 2010, especially) is an anachronism. They might as well gave the sheriff a Model T Ford. |

I wonder if we should set up a separate make for all of the unknown Gran Fifthlomats that have appeared in movies. It would remove a big stack of cars out of the unknowns list. -- Last edit: 2010-12-04 20:27:17 |

using non-existing vehicle name. |

Be innovative - call it Chrysler Gran Fifthlomat (all words as the make). -- Last edit: 2010-12-04 22:29:21 |

I don't know who did it but I like it. |

I used that name combined with "unknown" make (which was first used years ago here on the site by junkman) just until the right name was found... but once again we will have to pick one randomly I suppose? If such cars are still listed as unknown, just pick one of the available makes depending on what is not yet used in the same movie/series (or regroup with a similar one of the movie) We have the same problem with Peugeot/Citroën/Fiat vans. -- Last edit: 2010-12-04 23:33:12 |

The trim around the tailights seems to be black, indicating a Plymouth Gran Fury. 1982-1985 model as it seems to lack a third brake light. |

Many small departments, usually with just one man, still use old box-body police cars. It's not too common, but certainly not anachronistic. |
