It is listed as a pickup, can it be a pickup (and so another model name I guess), or must it be a Suburban ? |

On the ealy 1980's versions the lower cost models had only 2 headlamps and the indicators mounted below while higher spec models had 4 headlamps and the indicators mounted in the bumper. As Hiergehts mentioned, normally the 2 headlight grill configuration has the turn signals under the headlights, this truck has them in the bumper, Ive been around GM trucks most of my adult life, and Ive never seen this setup before! Maybe its mix n match, certainly looks strange. So far Ive found that it has a 1982 Scottsdale headlight setup with a 1985/86 Silverado grill setup. heres the 82 headlight linknote the elongated egg crate grill lines below the headlights. All 1982-1982 Chevy full-size trucks and SUV's had the turn signals in the bumper. I have to admit though, I too haven't seen too many like this. They must not have been a big seller in those two years. |

Strange. The headlight setup and turn signals indicate a 1981-1982, but the grill is 1985-1988. So I guess this is a 1981-1982 with the replacement grill of a 1985-1988? like this? /vehicle_333002-Chevrolet-C-10-1981.html and this? /vehicle_485922-Chevrolet.html |
