Agreed, when you think of Hannibal, Face, Murdock and BA. you allways says that the Vandura is the fifth member. we allways say that here. a few A-team fans. One of the best movie cars, in my top 5. |

It is and always has been a very handsome full-size van. |

It’s a 1989-onward by the grille, much newer than the one used in the tv-series (which had the 1983-1984 grille) and featured a more prominent GMC badge in the center of the grille with many thin mesh inlets. I wonder if GMC will feature any of it’s newer vehicles, say GMC Yukon Denali, GMC Terrain, or perhaps a preproduction 2011 GMC Sierra Denali 2500HD ? |

I thought that at least for this generation of vans, the number was placed in the chassis field (so for example: [G-2500]). |

It was the scene where they crash the van into some kind of construction equipment i think(it`s been a while since i saw the trailer). |

In the trailer I saw, a helicopter knocks an AC unit off the roof of a hospital and it crushes the van. ![]() |

Thanks for the link. I suppose there you have it. This is one of three main 1994 Chevrolet Chevy Van [G-20]'s that were used for the film. |

Did you know that producers originally wanted the Knight XV armored vehicle for the A-Team movie? Conquest Vehicles, makers of the Knight XV, somehow made the deal fall apart. So the producers fell back on the ubiquitous Third Generation General Motors van: http://jerrygarrett.wordpress.com/2010/06/18/ten-secrets-of-the-a-team-movie-van/ |

It's a good thing the knight deal fell apart. I used to say they never should have changed the van but after seeing that XV piece of $#!T I retract all of my previous statements. |

Was it so hard just to find a real GMC? |
◊ 2010-07-13 00:55 |
Most of the replicas I see around are either WAY too new, or are in fact, Chevy vans. So perhaps it is. |

Yeah it is like in episode 12.07 of Fifth Gear when they painted the GMC logo on a Vauxhall Rascal and called it the A-Team van but that was British humor and they actully used the van in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-M9k5UrD54 but this is the real deal A-Team fans like us want a real 1983 GMC Vandura |

Current main picture looks good, but it is from the trailer: that scene is not seen exactly like that in the movie. Should we replace it?![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It seemed rather unexpected to me ![]() ![]() |

I think your first thumbnail would be perfect as the main image ![]() |

Would this be better to have modern GMC Savana instead? ![]() |

Its a GMC, not Chevrolet |

Its the biggest thing people remeber about the film, and it gets buggered up in the first 15 minutes. That was, undoubtably, the worst thing about the film. |
