Cunningham two years before he made Friday the 13th! Manny is fired as coach of a school's soccer team due to "not being a good fit" but gets a job at a Catholic not-quite-all-boys orphanage an starts another soccer team where a single girl, the brother of one of the orphans, proves to be an incredibly competent goalie. Meanwhile, Manny has run up a gambling debt with some mobsters who set up a soccer game where Manny's team will play against the school that fired Manny, betting what Manny owes them in a double-or-nothing bet; if Manny's team wins, the debt will be forgiven. If not, his ass is grass. Similar premise to Ladybugs but without Rodney Dangerfield.
