No Again your wrong there was a mk3 facelift called the MK4 which had a slightly different grill to the mk3 and then in 94 the mk5 was made with a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT front end and it was nicknamed the "smiley" down to the new smiley face grill believe me when it comes to transits i know what im talking about!
