chris40 ◊ 2007-09-21 14:59	I'm not sure it was compulsory; I had friends who even in 1956 took their car to France, and I don't recall them having to fit such a sign. It certainly wasn't compulsory for RHD vehicles registered, or even resident, in France. Not a bad idea, though.
