Not recognised as an official factory works car, but was a factory owned and prepared semi-works spec car - one of 3 supplied to the British Army Rally Team - VVC 288/289/290 - in early 1958 for 1958-59 seasons. 289 has disappeared but 288 was rediscovered in 2003 and there's a 1992 reference to 290. Both 288 and 290 have recent or current DVLA records, but nowt for 289. |
