Seems to be one of those cars where the passenger compartment has a roof but the driver's bit doesn't. |

Whatever it is it has front wheels brakes so is unlikely to be correct for the 1914-18 period. I can't see any brake rods so maybe they are hydraulic?? |

Unlikely in Europe before the late 1920s. Fred Duesenberg invented in 1914, Loughead developed the system, Automotive Products gained the rights to sell in UK and Europe in 1928. Front wheel brakes on pre hydraulic cars were often operated by a rotating Perrot shaft and cams, the shaft frequently being positioned behind the front axle to protect it. -- Last edit: 2012-07-03 18:18:22 |

Figurehead is an winged figure, an eagle holding...an arrow? A quiver? Even in HD it's hard to tell. |
