Possibly one of the very late variants of the BSA C15?

Is their any way of telling the difference between a TR25W and a BSA B25 ?

Does anyone know what year this was shot? I thought it was earlier than 1968.

Aired December 1967 so 1967 would be a wise guess.

The bike here looks to have a non full-width front brake - like earlier models of BSA/Triumph. Most of the more-common 1968-on TR25 models have an entirely different front brake but here is a 1965 model - http://www.roncobb.com/TriTR25W.html - which is full width.

Checking again on this I have looked around the net and it appears that there was no TR25W before about 1968 - the one in my link must be later model than advertised. I think up to about 1966 the small Triumph was the Cub/Terrier with the inclined cylinder.

I think this is one of the many variations of the 350cc BSA B40 - http://motorbike-search-engine.co.uk/classic_bikes/bsa-b40-gallery.php - which was scaled up and modified C15 and which later also became the TR25 Triumph and the BSA B25 when the British learner rules set a 250cc limit.

What's interesting is, this appears to be a different motorcycle than the one Max is driving in the outdoor scenes of the same episode.

I'd think it would be safe to say this is a BSA .
