I maintain that 'Alfa Romeo' is the name of the car company (manufacturer) but the shortened form 'Alfa' is normally used for make when used with the model name (147 etc).

However badges, literature and brochures vary depending what looks best at the time - car companies are seldom consistent. ;)



To Sunbar ... I didn't named this one as "Alfa Romeo Alfa Spider" did I? ... the case of Alfa 33 is different ;)
