tore-40 ◊ 2014-11-13 22:08	Could you be thinking of the 1974 Saturn Yellow (L-13M), or the 1975 Sunflower Yellow or 1976 Sunshine Yellow (both L-13K)? 1974, 1976 and 1977 had no yellow option for standard Beetles in the U.S. brochures. 1975 had the Rallye Yellow (L-10A) and the Chrome Yellow (L-20A), a rather more amber shade, in the U.S. brochure.

Well keep in mind, this movie was filmed in Ontario, Canada (at least most of it).
