It's an October 1967 ( DVLA checked ) Daimler V8 250. The Jaguar MkII has a different bonnet trim and these are not the original bumpers, since the V8 250 has the slimmer ones.

The V8 250 was released in September 1967 with cars in production from August 1967. A car registered in October 1967 could have been manufactured some months previously and therefore before the model change.

Although its quoted as a V8 250 it possibly was an earlier 2.5 litre V8? It would be interesting to find out more about it. It was listed as SORN (unlicenced) in the past two years but is now registered again for road use to March 2010.

Looks like V8 250 hubcaps - simpler circles with centre sticking out further than 2½ Litre V8.

Fantastic that this car still exists (at least as of 2010)! Too many Jaguars and Daimlers were junked in British crime shows. The Daimler 250 was a class act!
