these trucks are amazing I've got an 87 chevy truck and they just dont build trucks now a days that are as tough as these!! this ones seems to have a warn winch, westin grille guard, and a set of west coast mirrors. Its also got a really nice light bar on the roof, wish i had one like that for my snowplow. |

Is that some kind of 35 series or 3500 series? This one has rear dually wheels.... |

It's a 1985-1987 (I suppose even possibly 1988) GMC K-3500. I can't tell what trim it is but I think it might be Sierra, not 100% sure. |

It can be listed as having a "Wideside" pickup box (since it does) The only difference is the fender extensions to accommodate the dual rear wheels. |

That's good to know, thanks Neptune. Would you by any chance happen to know what the trim is? |

This truck is a 1985/86 at the latest because they kept the body style for 88 but it had a different headlight setup. Its a GMC Sierra C/K-30 1 Ton most likely a C-30 because i dont belive this truck is Four Wheel Drive becuse theres no 4X4 sticker on the fender. Second this truck is a single cab FLEETSIDE not wideside because thats incorrect chevy never built a wideside because there were 2 bodystyles back in the 80s for these trucks the Fleetside and the Step side wich this truck is definetly not(Trust me I've had to buy parts for mine). The dually fenders are just factory add ons that are bolted to the bed. |

As mentioned this is a K series (4wd) truck as evidenced by the front drive axle. |

Huh? The full size sculpted pickup box was available on both Chevrolet and GMC versions. Chevrolet used the Fleetside name, while GMC used the Wideside name. Chevrolet did make a "Fleetside": The truck in the capture is for sure a K-3500 (four-wheel drive, 1-ton) Wideside Big Dooley. It’s not going to be anything else. The front end grille work (that houses the GMC emblem) was used from 1985-1987 on ½-ton and ¾-ton trucks, and used from 1985-1988 on 1-tons and Crew Cab/Bonus Cab versions. The single and dual headlamps didn’t change either. The 1989 model year saw updated headlamps and grille work. |

Funny how he incorrectly identified a truck that had already been correctly identified ![]() |

Just to bolster Neptune's claim, I owned a 1988 GMC Suburban "R-2500" that used the 1985-87 Suburban nose setup with the stacked headlights. GM didn't add the newer mini-quad headlamps on the older body style Suburbans, Blazers, heavy duty trucks until 1989. You can spot an 87-88 by the "FUEL INJECTION" tag on the tailgate usually. |
