Looks Japanese, do they sell Hino trucks in USA? |

According to my memory, it was exported at this time. No doubt this truck is Hino (this cab design is 1982-89). But I don't know exact USA name. According with the naming law for the United States, I think it may called Hino FD... |

The livery is a reference to the 1978 Romero original, /vehicle_18780-Mack-MB-400.html /vehicle_18781-International-Harvester-Fleetstar-2050A.html -- Last edit: 2012-05-14 16:00:17 |

According to Hino, the first US models were sold in 1984. "1984 also marked the arrival of Hino Trucks into the U.S. market." "1983 Hino Motors Ltd. (HML) held a ceremony to kick off shipping its 1st medium-duty diesel truck to the U.S. at the FF line of the Hino plant." http://www.hino.com/history.html |

It's worth pointing out that this movie was filmed in Canada...their window for export may have been different. |
